Jennifer (Jenn) Frazier has been a practicing SLP upon graduation from Washington State University in 2005.  Since that time, she has been treating adult patients in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient settings throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Over the past eight years she has worked as a clinical specialist at a level 2 trauma center in Spokane, WA where she has specialized in dysphagia assessment and treatment.   Upon FEES certification, she was instrumental in the implementation and integration of FEES at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. She recently earned an ACE award from ASHA and is actively pursuing Board Certification in Swallowing. 

Emily Cannavaro, MS CCC-SLP

Emily recently joined our FEES family this Fall!  She has been a practicing speech pathologist since 2009 after earning her Master's degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She has experience providing care across a variety of setting, including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient and skilled nursing facilities.  Emily's clinical focus is dysphagia diagnostics and treatment as well as head and neck cancer patients.  Emily brought FEES into her practice in 2010 and since that time has served as a clinical trainer, assisted in start-up FEES programs and provided guest lectures to graduate students and professional organizations.  She is passionate about education, both in pursuit of her own continuing education and in mentoring and collaborating with other clinicians to maximize patient outcomes and quality of life.  Emily brings her extensive experience to provide FEES in Western Washington and Oregon.

Anne Leaf, MA CCC-SLP

Anne earned her Master's Degree from Washington State  University and has been practicing for over 21 years.   She has provided speech therapy services across the continuum from inpatient acute care to home health services.   The majority of herprofessional career was at a Level I Trauma facility in Boise in the assessment and treatment of patients at the acute, inpatient acute rehabilitation as well as transitional rehabilitation (subacute) level.  She was instrumental in the development of the Speech Therapy Department in defining the SLP scope of practice, enhance service delivery, maintain and exceed productivity expectations.  As the Supervisor, she was also responsible for achieving CARF, JCAHO and CMS standards and regulations relevant to the SLP role.  She has extensive experience with the assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders which includes completion of numerous Modified Barium Swallow studies with inpatients and outpatients of the Treasure Valley.  As a continuous learner with a profound professional dedication, she has received numerous ASHA ACE awards for continuing education.   

Suzanne Neidermyer, MA CCC-SLP

Suzanne has over 28 years of experience, specializing in voice and swallowing disorders in direct assessment and treatment in inpatient subacute, acute, skilled nursing and outpatient rehabilitation settings.  She has extensive experience completing thousands of endoscopic evaluations.  She recently was the director of a voice and swallow clinic in collaboration with  an ENT in southern California.  She has been an active mentor and instructor of FEES, NMES and Videostroboscopy studies in California prior to moving to Boise.   She is licensed in California, Idaho and Oregon and has experience working with the Hispanic population, as she speaks Spanish.   She also has experience as a Medicare Peer Reviewer, providing a valuable, qualified and unique perspective to assist in appropriate documentation to maximize reimbursement and CMS compliance.
